FAQ

Q: How much do you charge for (Blank) service/job/work?

A: Every job is different and although some companies have flat rates for certain jobs, they typically have hidden costs or extras to make up for the low “price”, or they charge high to begin with. We would rather get more information from you or even see the location first to give you the best, most accurate price possible. Click on the “Contact us” on the home page to request your free estimate.

Q: Do you work on (Blank)?

A: Our electricians have seen and done a wide variety of electrical work in residential, commercial, and even industrial settings. Give us an opportunity to look at the job you want completed and we will let you know right away if it’s within our scope. If it’s not, we’ll be able to point you in the direction of someone who can help.

Q: Are you insured and liscesned?

A: Yes! We have an up to date Wisconsin Master’s and Contractor’s License, as well as liability insurance.

Q: Do you have any warrenties?

A: Yes! As long as you pay in full and on time, we have a 100% workmanship guarentee.

Q: Do you offer any discounts?

A: Yes! We offer 10% off labor for military and emergency service workers and their spouses. Make sure to bring this up during the estimate!

Q: How long will (Blank) take?

A: As with all construction and repair it’s hard to say exactly how long something will take, but we will give you our best guess and strive to meet your expectations.

Q: What’s your hourly rate/material mark up?

A: Since we do work all over Wisconsin and fall under different IBEW locals, our prices changes to where the work is performed. We can assure you our prices are fair and competitive.

Q: How/when can I pay?

A: Jobs where the material is under $500 can be paid at the completion of service, anything above $500 will be required to pay 50% of the total estimate upon material order, and 50% upon completion. Currently we accept cash or checks.

Q: Can I purchase/I’ve already purchased some material, will that make it cheaper?

A: Maybe! Although we know you could handle it and are capable of buying the correct material, it’s hard to just hope and accept everything is waiting for us when we show up. It’s okay if you want to buy material and ask us to use it, but if it’s not enough or incorrect, we will need to run to our nearest supplier to get the parts, and unfortunately you will be charged for that time. We always suggest to just let us do all the work and purchase the material for your project.

Q: Where can I leave a review?

A: You can leave a review on Google, Yelp, Facebook, or send it directly to us from our “Contact us” page. Reviews are our #1 form of advertising and we consider them our “tip”!

Q: How long will it take to hear back from you?

A: We strive to answer calls right away, but sometimes we can’t get to it in time. For any type of message (voicemail, text, email, facebook) we promise to get back to you by the end of the next business day, but most of the time it’s much shorter than that. If it’s been longer than that we are not ignoring you! Send us another message or call to get our attention.

Q: How long will the estimate take?

A: An in-person estimate will vary in length, but we try to get in, get the information we need, and get out as fast as possible to get out of your hair. After that give us at least 3 business days to finalize and send your estimate over, but we try to get them our ASAP, often the next day.
